Their story: Based out of NYC, the group DAMN GLAD (formerly known as IMMORAL FIBRES) were invited to kickoff the Emerging Artist stag at Woodstock '99. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Matt Kurzban who hails from the Woodstock, NY area remembers the call. "We basically found out about 3 days before the event that we would be playing. We were the first group on and the first sound of music so kids came swarming in to soak it up. We found some new fans and have been Pick Hits on the Emerging Artist sponsor AMP.com website. Downloads from the internet have skyrocketed since the event."
